Cooling tower


 

  A cooling tower is a device that cools water. The water exchanges heat and mass with the air flowing through it, causing the water temperature to decrease.

  Cooling towers are classified as: open cooling towers, closed cooling towers; counterflow cooling towers, crossflow cooling towers.

  They are mainly used in air conditioning cooling systems, refrigeration series, air compressors, industrial water cooling, etc., with the most common applications being air conditioning cooling, refrigeration, and plastics and chemical industries.
